start it by saying something like a creative outline like: A man in his early 20s is texting his girlfriend telling her how hot she was looking the day before. he's also driving home to his flat 2 streets away. he's not paying attention to the road as is to busy texting. then bam! with the phone smashed on the floor he gradually gets out of the car. lying on the floor infront of the car is a little girl unconscious on the floor. would this still have happened if he wasn't texting?
that would defo pull readers in, so you could say how it kills people etc.... hope this helps xx
You could start off with how the US managed to assemble a coalition of nations to fight on its side and then narrow it down to one country, i.e. why did Canada choose to take part in the War.

Love your fractured question! It became actual the Archduke Franz Ferdinand who, at the same time together with his morganatic spouse, Sophie, have been shot via Josif Prinzip, a Hungarian nationalist. Prinzip had to take Hungary out of Austria and Austria out of Hungary (even with each little thing, the countries have been in reality joined on the hip--formally the two countries shared the call of Austria-Hungary). regrettably, this set in action a cascade of activities that led to what has been variously referred to as "The conflict to end conflict," "the great conflict," and, of path, "international conflict I." Oh, and right here's a freebie--a "morganatic" spouse became frequently a commoner who married into royalty, yet became no longer given royal rank. It became all completely legal and aboveboard; she because of no means could be referred to as queen, nor could the infants of this style of union inherit the throne.

Start with the causes of the war, then drill down to the actual battles of the war, then the results of the war. Make sure that you include the big players...Bush, Hussein, Schwartzkopf, ect. and all countries involved.

Take for example "The Highway of Death". Who? Why? What was the justification of the US-led coalition? What influence did it have on the rest of the war?

Well, I was taught that if you are citing something from a lecture it should:
begin with the speaker's name, then title of the lecture or presentation in quotation marks, then the name of the sponsoring organization (like the name of your school where you were when the prof taught you that stuff). Then end if off with the date (ex. 9 May 1999) that the professor said those things.
