Question: well this is my assignment i need help can any 1 help please For this assignment you are writing an essay that examines technology's effects on social norms and the implications these effects have on individuals. To accomplish this assignment you will need to think about how technology has changed our social norms and expectations from what they were twenty years ago. That is, only include technology that has become part of our lives in the past 20 years (that means you will not discuss airplanes and radios). Essentially, explain how our cultural norms are different because of recent technology. Be sure to discuss the norms in different spheres of your life (personal, school, work, etc.) Also, be sure to explain what these changes mean for us as individuals. What are the personal ramifications of these changes? What kind of people are being created by our technology? How might your values be different if we were not so technologically advanced? Notice that there are two aspects of this assignment. You do not only have to recognize how technology has defined social norms, but you also have to explain the significance of these changes.

the internet & cell phone has done away with people verbally each other & having a conversation .It is all done via the typed word. you used to visit someone to get see them.. now you skype or web cam, & feel it is the same as a visit . A person used to have to got the library or read a book to find what they wanted to know, now they do not have leave their house .. they click on a search engine on the internet or their phone , They No Longer have a set of encyclopedias to help them research for knowledge . You take it from here. & expand , because your assignment is yours , I have given you food for thought*

"The Alchemist" by Paulo Coehlo It's hands down the best book I've ever read. It's a quick read, but very powerful and inspirational. If you're at a stage where you're trying to figure out where to go in life, this book is perfect. It does have some religion (christian) in it, but I honestly picked it up by chance at the bookstore. The main character does go through a lot, and by the end of the book it shows you how everything happens for a reason. I don't want to spoil the ending, so I'm not saying anything more about the plot. But when I was starting University, this book really helped guide me to find an area of study that I was passionate about.

Let me first say that I was not guided into this question by the easy ten points, but simply the inspiration as a booklover. You want a good book? Have you ever heard of David Copperfield? Have you ever met Charles Dickens? Well, here is a small phrase to begin with: "To begin my life with the beginning of my life, I record that I was born (as I have been informed and believed) on a Friday, at twelve o'clock at night"

I work at a pet store and honestly, A LOT of people seem to have only positive things to say about rats as pets UNLESS they have never had them as pets. Some people really hate the idea of rats as pets and look at them as gross creatures... but from what I've notice... It seems as if once a person's had one as a pet. They LOVE them. What I've heard is that they're extremely intelligent and very social. They cuddle up to you and everything. When I look at the small rats, I think they're pretty cute. It actually the tails that most people can't get over. If you go to a pet store and look at the rats they really aren't ugly. The reason why so many people think of them as ugly is because they have a clear picture in their head of what a rat is. Wild, dirty, and gross. But thats just the thing, Wild Rats are different from Domestic Rats. There's just not a vast difference in appearance. They're going to save you money and a dog might just be more work for you. Check out the link. :)

... well... this is a bit difficult to decide. If your opting for something new, I would suggest the rats, but I'm not sure they're really the "bonding" type... I would suggest that you take that list you made and compare each animal to that list. Whatever has the more attributes you like, you should get. Or, you could make a list of the major pros and cons for each animal: which is one cheaper, which one is easier to take care of, how long can I leave it alone when traveling, and other such questions. Researching about things you're unsure of (such as prices for different things like food and toys) will also help you come to a decision. Making a list of pros and cons and asking other people's opinions about the list can also help. If all else fails... go with your gut. I do that for big decisions, and I hardly ever regret it.
