Question: I'm writing a poem for a class and we have to write a poem with Shakespeare words in it( for example: thy, thine, hither, ect.) I don't know how to use the words though because I don't know the meaning so if you could give me a link of definitions or a list of Shakespeare words that would help a lot, thanks!

"Thy" and "thine" are the possessive forms of "thou," the familiar second-preson singular in Shakespeare's day (and a little later). "Thou" is the nominative/subject form, corresponding to "I"; "thee" is the objective case, like "me"; "they"and "thine" are like "my" and "mine." However, when the word after "my" or "thy" begins with a vowel, use "mine" or "thine" instead. Any verb with "thou" as irs subject ends in -st, except "shalt," wilt," and "art." "Hither" means "to here," and "hence" means "from here." "Thither" and "thence," "whither" and "whence" have the same relation to "there" and "where." Sqiguy is right that the King James Bible uses the same kind of English. In fact, there's even a legend that Shakespeare was one of the translators. I also recommend reading some of Shakespeare's sonnets to get a better feel for the English of his day.

I'm a bookkeeper for a private school. Pay the bills, do payroll, etc. I also handle all benefits (medical, dental, retirement) and the Nextel accounts and phones. Oh, I also handle all government grants and private donations. I also bring my own coffee to work in a carafe every morning ... I can't stand "work" coffee even if it is Starbucks (they donate it to us).

I sit in a closet, I mean an office, and do accounting stuff, like payroll and paying bills. My boss is the greatest and she leaves me alone so I get to mess around on the internet a little.

If you read some Shakespeare, or perhaps the King James version of the bible, perhaps you will develop the fluency required to do such an assignment. Have you done your assigned reading? Did you actually do your homework, or did you copy from somebody else. Your question was articulately asked, so I strongly suspect that you have the ability to do this, but have neglected to do so, or perhaps just to make the effort. If you want a word defined, you just google [define: thine] or whatever word you want. It takes about 30 seconds, including reading a few of the definitions in the google query results.
